ACS will be onsite at the festival to provide important guidance and advice on hearing health for music lovers. This together with opportunity to purchase high-fidelity earplugs that let you hear the music without the muffle and help prevent Tinnitus that can occur after exposure to loud music for long periods.
World Hearing Day is an initiative from the World Health Organisation which is held on 3 March each year to raise awareness on how to prevent deafness and hearing loss and promote ear and hearing care across the world. This year’s theme is “To hear for life, listen with care”.
“Any festival organisation should provide advice and guidance on health and wellbeing at their event. Therefore, ACS are proud to be asked to be the Tidyland Weekender hearing conservation partner to raise awareness on hearing health and offer the best protection to its festival goers.” said ACS Director, Jono Heale, who also suffers from chronic music induced Tinnitus and hearing loss.
